Description

This is a churchyard monument and attached surround located approximately 30 meters south of the south aisle of the Church of All Saints. The monument dates back to 1839 and is made of limestone ashlar. It features a squared obelisk set on two steps, with a plain coved cornice and pediments on each face. Each side of the obelisk has four rectangular panels that bear inscriptions dedicated to the Cunnington family. The attached slabbed surround includes an ashlar upstand, and the slabs are inscribed with various dates and initials.
