Description

This building, at 88-92 West Street, likely originates from the early 18th century, as suggested by the presence of a chimney stack. It has a Welsh slate roof and is constructed of coursed rubble. The building has two storeys and two windows. These windows are hung sashes with glazing bars. A modern shop front is present, along with a canted bay of three lights, also featuring hung sashes with glazing bars. A door leading to number 90 is situated to the right, within the premises of number 92, which is a later addition. The upper floor has two windows and the ground floor has one, all being hung sashes with thin glazing bars. The entrance door is made up of four panels. The building forms a group with numbers 2 to 36 (even), 42 to 46A (even) and 52 to 98 (even) on West Street.
