Description

This barn, located approximately 15 meters east of Number 7 (Springfields Farmhouse), dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and has a slate roof. The barn is a single unit, with its gable elevation facing the road. On the left side, there is a plank door set beneath a wooden lintel. The barn features ashlar gable parapets. The interior may still have some of the original roof structure. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
