Description

This is a two-storey house, now used as an office, situated on Broad Green in Wellingborough. The house dates from the 19th century and originally comprised two units, later combined. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone with a slate roof. The front elevation has a three-window arrangement of 19th-century sash windows, each set beneath a flat stone arch, now painted. A central entrance features a six-panelled door with a flat, 20th-century hood. Three hipped roof dormers contain 20th-century metal casements. The house has an ashlar gable parapet and brick stacks at each end. The interior includes a late 18th-century staircase with square newels, a stick balustrade, and a quarter landing.
