Description
Parks Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century and late 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof, with an L-shaped plan. The building has two storeys, with part of it having attics. The main front consists of a two-window range of 19th century casements set under stone lintels with keyblocks. There is a central six-panel door with glazed toplights, which is sheltered by a flat wooden hood. The gable ends have ashlar parapets and brick and ashlar stacks. The right gable includes a two-light stone mullion cellar window and a similar attic window. The rear range also features a three-light stone mullion window. The elevation of the rear range, located to the left of the main front, has three three-light stone mullion windows and plank and panelled doors situated between the windows. The rear range may be the earliest part of the building, while the front range is likely from the late 18th century. The interior has not been inspected.
