Description

Charity Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century that has been extensively restored in the 20th century. The building features an exposed timber frame on the first floor of the central bays, with whitewashed brick infill, while the rest of the structure is rendered and colourwashed. It has a tiled roof with a central brick chimney. The house is two storeys high and consists of four bays. The central bays are slightly recessed, and the roof overhangs on curved braces. The windows are horizontal sliding sash types with small panes, consisting of three lights in the outer bays, four lights in the third bay, and two lights above a 20th-century single light and gabled porch in the second bay. There is a lean-to structure on the left side.
