Description
No. 13 High Street is a shop that dates back to the 18th century and has been altered over time. It is constructed of brick and features an old tiled roof with a quarter hipped gable and a brick chimney on the left-hand side. The building has a moulded brick eaves cornice and stands two stories tall with four bays of 19th-century sash windows. The ground floor includes a modern glazed door set in a moulded doorcase with a hood supported by shaped brackets, alongside modern shop windows, with a yard entry to the left. At the rear, there is a wing that is also made of 18th-century brick and has an old tile roof, with a brick stack on the right-hand side and a corbelled brick eaves cornice. This wing is two stories high and features three modern casement windows, as well as the lower part of a large projecting chimney stack with tiled offsets on the left.
