Description

The Poplars is a house dating from the mid-to-late 18th century. It is constructed of plum-coloured brick with red brick dressings and has a thatched roof, with chimneys at each end. The front facade has three bays. The ground floor features five-light bay windows in the outer bays, linked by a cornice hood sheltering the central metal entrance door. Sash windows are located on the first floor. A lower wing to the right side has three paired casement windows, the one on the right being metal-framed, with a central chimney stack.
