Description

The Hermitage is a house dating from the 18th century with 19th-century additions. It is constructed of brick and features an old tiled mansard roof, along with four brick stacks that have offset heads. The building has two storeys and an attic.

The northeast front displays two gabled projections, each with tall barred French windows on the ground and first floors. Between these projections is a door set in a wooden doorcase, with a sash window and a keyblock above it. To the right, there are three additional bays that include 20th-century windows, with a casement window in the left-hand bay and sash windows to the right. The gable facing the street has a 20th-century square oriel window.

On the southwest side, there is a full-height 19th-century wing that includes a flat-roofed section at the angle.
