Description

Orchard Cottage is a small house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with blue headers and has pebble-dash on the gable. The roof is slate with moulded brick eaves and brick stacks at both ends. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. The windows are barred sash style with gauged brick heads, and one window is rendered. The central upper window is arched and has a radiating fanlight. The six-panel door located in the centre bay is topped with a rectangular fanlight and is sheltered by a hood supported on shaped brackets.
