Description

College Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of colourwashed rubble stone and brick, with a rear wing featuring timber framing and herringbone brick infill. The roof is thatched, with brick stacks situated on the gables and between the left-hand bays. The main section of the house is one-and-a-half storeys high and comprises three bays. It features paired barred casement windows with timber lintels, with a three-light window on the ground floor to the left-hand bays. A door is located between the right-hand bays, above which is an insurance plaque. A lower wing is set back to the right, partly constructed from stone with 19th-century brick to the rear, and has a slate roof.
