Description
Abbot's Cottage and Abbot's Lodge is a house that has been converted into a pair of cottages, dating from the 17th century. The building is timber framed with whitewashed brick infill, including some herringbone patterns. The left gable features whitewashed rubble stone and brick. It has a thatched roof with brick stacks located on the right gable and between the left-hand bays. The structure is one-and-a-half storeys high and consists of three bays. The left-hand bay has 19th-century three-light casement windows, while the ground floor of the right-hand bays features paired barred casements. There are board doors on the left and left of centre, with the latter having a single casement window adjacent to it on the left.
