Description

The Village Hall, originally a school, was built in 1840. It is constructed of stone with brick dressings and features a slate roof with a tiled ridge on the cross wings, along with ornamental bargeboards and finials. This small, picturesque building is one storey high. The front has gabled projections on either side of a central projecting gabled porch. The left-hand gable includes a bell, while the right-hand gable features a clock. Both gables have large three-by-three light casements, and there is a brick arched doorway.
