Description
The Bugle Horn Inn is a public house and restaurant dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone that contains ammonite fossils, with some brickwork, and is painted. The building features a hipped old tile roof and a tall central chimney. It is two stories high and has three wide bays. The entrance is located to the left of the center and consists of a four-panelled wooden door set within a doorcase that has reeded pilasters and a hood supported by iron brackets.
To the left of the door, there is a bay with three-light leaded casements that have painted lintels, and a carved stone shell motif is inset between the windows. To the right of the door, there is a two-story canted bay window with double wing sashes, featuring four panes in the center and two panes on each side. The right bay has one three-light and one two-light casement, both with segmental brick arched heads. Above, there is another three-light leaded casement, and below, there is another shell motif.
On the left side, there is a one-story painted brick wing with a hipped slate roof and a single four-pane sash window with a segmental arched head. The right end elevation has two two-light upper casements. At the rear, there is a 19th-century block with a slate roof.
