Description
Bailliff's House is an 18th-century house constructed of red and blue brick, featuring a pyramid roof made of old tiles topped with a weathervane. It has a brick chimney on the north side and stands three storeys tall over a cellar. The building includes a plinth and floor bands with shallow timbers set below them. It has a square plan with one bay elevations, and six-pane wide sash windows, with segmental brick arches over the ground and first floors. The south elevation has glazed doors on the ground floor, sheltered by a small tiled canopy. There are additions on the north side, including one bay with a catslide roof, a sash window on the first floor, and a lean-to enclosed porch below. A single-storey wing extends to the north with a door beneath a tiled hood supported by brackets.
