Description

This barn, located 15 meters northeast of Quaker Farmhouse, dates from 1794 as indicated on one of its beams. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill on the west side, weatherboard cladding on the east, and a gable facing the road that has mostly been rebuilt in brick. The barn has a rubble stone plinth and an old tiled roof, consisting of three bays. There is a central waggon entry and a two-light casement window to the left. Inside, it has raking queen post trusses with braced tie beams. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
