Description

Church End Cottages is a row of three cottages located in Bledlow-Cum-Saunderton. The cottages date from the 16th to 17th centuries on the right side and have a late 18th-century block on the left. The right bay features a timber frame with thin brick infill, including some herringbone patterns in the upper storey, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in brick. The roof is covered with old tiles, and there is a large chimney made of thin brick on the left side. The cottages are two storeys tall and have three-light barred wooden casements. There is a small old three-light window with diamond mullions on the first floor, aligned with the chimney. A door is located to the right in a small brick porch with a lean-to tiled roof, and there is a brick outshot at the rear.

The left block is constructed from red and vitreous brick with a flint plinth, featuring dentil brick eaves and an old tile roof that is hipped to the left. This section is also two storeys high and consists of three bays. It includes a three-light leaded casement on the first floor to the right, a barred wooden window in the centre of the ground floor, and three-light barred wooden casements in the remaining bays. There are two intermediate 20th-century board doors with porches similar to those on the right bay.
