Description

BLEDLOW-CUM-SAUNDERTON CHURCH END SP 70 SE 1/15 Nos. 1,2 and 3, Church End Cottages - GV II

Row of 3 cottages. C16-C17 bay to right, late C18 block to left. Right bay has timber frame with thin brick infill, part herringbone, to upper storey, the ground floor rebuilt in brick. Old tile roof, large chimney of thin brick to left. 2 storeys. 3-light barred wooden casements, small old 3-light window with diamond mullions to first floor in line with chimney. Door to right in small brick porch with lean-to tiled roof. Brick outshot to rear. Block to left is of red and vitreous brick with flint plinth, dentil brick eaves and old tile roof, hipped to left. 2 storeys, 3 bays. 3-light leaded casement to first floor right, barred wooden window to ground floor centre, 3-light barred wooden casements to remainder. 2 intermediate C20 board doors with porches as in right bay.
