Description

Church Cottage is a small house built in 1696, with alterations from the 18th and 20th centuries. The structure is primarily made of brick, with a timber-framed east gable. It features an old tile roof that is half-hipped on the east side. The house has three bays, with a 17th-century brick stack located between the eastern bays. The modern west bay includes an outshot. The building is one-and-a-half storeys tall and has casement windows with flared headers and a band course. A date brick below the tie beam indicates the year of construction, 1696.
