Description
Threshers Barn and the attached granary, located southwest of Vale Farmhouse, is a building that has been converted into a dwelling in 1981. It likely dates from the late 18th century. The structure features a timber frame set on a plinth made of brick and flint, with weatherboarding and an old tile roof that extends over an open porch on the left side. The attached range on the left continues into the adjoining building known as "Barncroft." On the right side, there is a lower range with a small projecting wing attached to the granary, which is made of brick and has a pyramid-shaped old tile roof with dentil brick eaves. The building is square in plan and stands two storeys high, with simple dark stained doors and windows throughout the group.
