Description
The Church of St Mary is a Grade II listed medieval chapel-of-ease that was rebuilt in 1856, designed by architect William White. The structure incorporates some old materials and retains several original fittings. It features a nave and chancel constructed from knapped flint, with brick bands and stone dressings, topped by a tiled roof. The windows are in the Early English style, consisting of lancet and 2-light designs. At the west end, there is a wooden louvred bellcote. Inside, the font dates back to the 13th century and has a circular bowl adorned with floral motifs.
