Description
The Lodge at Hedsor Priory is a former lodge, now partly used as a garage, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of knapped flint with whitewashed brick dressings and features a hipped slate roof. The building is one storey high and consists of three bays. Narrow pilasters made of whitewashed brick are located at the corners and flanking each opening. The right bays contain Gothick arched windows with Y-tracery, leaded glazing, whitewashed brick surrounds, and outer arches made of unknapped flint. The left bay features a six-panelled arched door with a similar surround. A gabled timber porch has a fishscale slate roof, shaped bargeboards, and arched bracing. There is a central chimney with flint panels. Each side of the lodge has two bays of similar Gothick windows, while the rear has been altered to include a 20th-century garage entry on the left.
