Description

Crumbledown is a late 16th century or early 17th century timber-framed house with three bays and two storeys. It features brick infill from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, and has an old tile roof. The entrance and chimney stack are located between the two left-hand bays, and there is a boarded door. The house has modern leaded casements, with five on the first floor and three on the ground floor. The chimney stack dates from the 17th century but has been partly rebuilt above the roof level. At the rear, there is a modern two-storey wing that also has an old tile roof and leaded casements.
