Description
This barn, located 20 meters northwest of Hook's Farmhouse, dates from the 17th to early 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure with weatherboard cladding and a plinth made of flint and brick. The roof is steeply pitched, covered with slate on the front side and 20th-century asbestos slates on the rear. The barn consists of three bays and has central cart doors, with a gabled projecting entry located at the rear. Inside, it has queen post trusses supported by curved braces and wind-braces. The barn is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
