Description

This is a barn located 20 yards from Hookstone Farm House, dating from the 18th century and incorporating older materials. It was restored in the 20th century. The barn features a timber frame with brick infill at the bottom and weatherboard cladding above. It has a corrugated iron roof that is half hipped on the left side. The structure is rectangular and has three double arched head windows across the front, with double doors positioned to the left of center.

Inside, the barn consists of five framed bays and has a Queen post roof at both ends, with Queen struts supporting the center. There is also a 19th-century pentice roof extension at the rear. This barn is included in the listing for its group value with other nearby structures.
