Description
Bourneside is a house dating from the 17th century, which was extended to the left in the 20th century. The building has a timber frame that is exposed on the right-hand return front, while the front is clad in whitewashed render. It features a plain tiled roof that is half hipped, with machine tiles covering the roof over the extension. The house is one storey high with an attic on the right side, which has three gabled dormers that extend through the eaves. Across the ground floor, there are three casement windows, with one on the right positioned under a cambered head. The entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed, located in a gabled open porch supported by wooden posts on the left. The extension, which is set back to the left, includes three large glazing bar sash windows.
