Description

The Chapel, originally designed as a gazebo by Giacomo Leoni, was under construction in 1735. It was later converted into a chapel by the 1st Viscount Astor, who is buried there. The chapel features mosaics designed by J L Pearson and created by Clayton and Bell between 1893 and 1897. It includes lavish marble fittings and covers for both the floor and walls, as well as two urns by T Greenaway of Bath from 1725.
