Description
The Old White Hart is a house that was formerly a public house, dating from the 17th century and altered over time. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill and an old tile roof that has replaced the original thatch. The building has a central brick chimney with grouped shafts and a later external chimney on the left side. The eaves have been slightly raised. It is 1½ storeys high and consists of 2 bays. The ground floor has paired wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars, and there is a 20th-century gabled semi-dormer on the left. A boarded door is located to the right. In the center, there is a shallow projection, likely an oven. The house is flanked by 19th-century brick extensions with slate roofs and wooden casements.
