Description
The Grange is a house built in the late 18th to early 19th century. It features pale red and vitreous chequer brick, with the lower walls made of older 18th-century brick. The building has dentil eaves and a 20th-century tiled roof, along with flanking brick chimneys. It has an irregular T-plan with a lower wing at the rear and later infill in the angle at the back of the right bay. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. On the ground floor, there are early 20th-century three-light wooden casements with segmental heads in the outer bays. The first floor has later 20th-century wooden casements, with three-light windows flanking a two-light window. The central entrance features a six-panelled door that is top-lit and has a flat wooden cornice hood. There is also an old board door located on the left side of the rear wing.
