Description
Warrens is a cottage dating from the early to mid-18th century. It features two bays on the left side constructed with a slight timber frame and whitewashed brick and plaster infill, while the later 19th-century bay on the right is made of whitewashed brick. The cottage has a half-hipped thatch roof with a brick chimney situated between the left bays and a 20th-century brick chimney at the front left corner. It is one storey high with an attic and consists of three bays. The ground floor has paired leaded casements in the right and centre positions, a single leaded light on the left, and three other wooden casements. There is a central attic dormer with a 20th-century three-light casement. Access is provided at the rear of the right bay, and there is a small 19th-century gabled projection at the centre of the rear. Inside, the cottage features narrow chamfered spine beams and rough wind-braces. The building is included for its group value.
