Description

Thatch Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage featuring slight timber uprights with whitewashed infill, brick at the front, and plaster at the rear. It has a hipped thatch roof with a central whitewashed brick chimney. The cottage is one storey high and consists of five small bays. The windows are irregularly arranged, with single and paired wooden casements, including one paired leaded casement in the fourth bay. There are two intermediate board doors; the left door has a corrugated hood, while the right door leads into a small lean-to conservatory. A weatherboard shed is attached to the left end of the cottage, contributing to its picturesque appearance.
