Description

D'Oyley's Farmhouse is a house from the 17th century that has been altered. It features coursed rubble stone and a steeply pitched slate roof, with a distinctive H-plan chimney stack made of thin brick located between the right bays. The building has two storeys and three bays, with irregularly placed two-light wooden casements, mostly from the 20th century, that have timber lintels. There are three windows on each floor, with the central window on the ground floor being part of a blocked doorway. The entrance is a lobby entry with a 20th-century door situated between the right bays. At the rear, there are extensions made of brick, stone, and render. Inside, the farmhouse has stop-chamfered spine beams.
