Description

A house, dated 1652 as indicated by an inscription on a plaque on the staircase projection to the north. The house is built of rubble stone with timber lintels over the openings, and has a tiled roof. A central square stack is constructed of thin bricks, with another stack to the northeast gable. The plan is L-shaped. The house has two storeys and an attic. The rear elevation has a boarded door set within a lean-to tiled porch and a gabled staircase projection to the centre left. Irregular paired wooden casements are visible. The east front features two bays of 20th-century paired casements; a three-light window is on the first floor to the right, and a central glazed door with bars.
