Description

This is a late 18th century farmhouse, dated 1794 with the initials "DD" stamped in the bricks. The front facade is of brick, while the sides are a combination of flint and brick. The roof is covered in old tiles, with brick eaves featuring small dentils, and the house has brick chimneys. It is a double pile house, meaning that it has rooms on both sides of a central passage, and stands two storeys high with an attic. The house has two bays, and features four-pane sash windows. The ground floor windows are larger, with a rounded top. A 20th-century door is centrally placed, protected by a hipped tiled hood. There’s a blind window panel in the centre of the first floor. A 20th-century canted bay window has been added to the right side. Dormers and skylights, also 20th century, are visible on the sides and rear.
