Description

The Barn is a small house built in the late 17th century to early 18th century. It features a timber frame with diagonal bracing and brick infill on the first floor, while the ground floor has mostly been rebuilt in brick with a flint plinth. The building has an old tile roof and an external chimney made of thin brick on the right side. It is one storey high with an attic and consists of two bays. The windows are 20th-century paired leaded casements, and there is a boarded door to the right within a gabled timber porch. A small brick lean-to is located on the right side, and there is an attached flint and brick outbuilding at the front left corner that has garage doors in its front gable.
