Description

Two houses, dating from around 1800 with an early 19th century bay and 20th century extensions to the right. The original part is constructed of vitreous header brick with red brick dressings, featuring dentil eaves and an old tile roof, with rendered chimneys at each side. The houses are two storeys high and originally three bays wide. They have wooden casement windows with single horizontal glazing bars, set within flat brick arches. The central bay contains a 20th century half-glazed door, topped with a blind fanlight and set within a depressed brick arch. A later bay, to the right, is built of more irregular brick to the front and flint to the side, and has a hipped roof. This bay features three-light wooden casements; the upper window has a flat arch, and the lower window has been enlarged in the 20th century. There is an entrance to the 20th century extensions at the right end.
