Description

Star Cottage is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of brick with a front featuring vitreous headers and red dressings. It has dentil eaves and an old tile roof, along with flanking brick chimneys. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The ground floor has tripartite barred sashes with cambered heads in the outer bays, while the first floor features 3-pane sashes. The central entrance has a 6-panelled door with panelled reveals and a flat wooden hood that has a panelled soffit. Above the door, there is the base of a Union fire insurance plaque. There are lower extensions to the right and an outshot at the rear.
