Description
This barn, located approximately 30 meters northwest of Arizona Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. It features a timber frame and weatherboard construction set on high flint and brick base walls, topped with a half-hipped old tile roof. The barn consists of four bays. To the right of the center, there is a half-hipped projection with a cart entry that has been blocked with corrugated plastic sheeting. The left bays include 20th-century lean-to loose boxes made of concrete blocks with corrugated asbestos roofs, while the right bay has a lean-to shelter also covered with a corrugated roof. Inside, the barn has raking queen post and queen strut trusses. It is known as Upper Barn and is included for its group value. A later extension with a yard entry on the left is not of special interest.
