Description
Church Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed farmhouse that has been recased in brick and enlarged in the 18th century. It features a half-hipped old tile roof and is designed in a letter-L plan. The building has two storeys, with a west wing added in the 18th century, as well as a north bay from the same period. The south elevation consists of three bays, with a door located between the right-hand bays. The exterior is finished with colourwashed masonry-scribed render. The east elevation has casement windows and one dormer, while the west elevation includes a modern porch and another dormer. There is a slate-roofed dairy situated in the angle of the building. Inside, the timber-framing is exposed, showcasing curved purlin braces and chamfered and stopped spine beams.
