Description

This is a house dating from around the 17th century, with extensions added in the 18th century. The two bays on the left have a timber frame construction, featuring braces, plaster infill, and a roughly rendered plinth. The south facade of these bays is covered in roughcast rendering. The two right-hand bays are built of whitewashed brick, with some remaining timber framing visible on the north side. The roof is thatched and half-hipped towards the left side, and there are two whitewashed brick chimneys. The house has one and a half storeys. Windows are irregular C20 leaded casements, with segmental heads on those at ground floor level to the right. Two upper windows, one single and one three-light, are set into the thatch. There are four-panelled doors in the centre and to the right of the facade.
