Description

Wren's Cottage, also known as Wren's Nest, is a 17th-century cottage constructed of witchert, which is rendered and painted. The cottage features a thatched roof with a half-hipped gable on the left-hand side and a right-hand gable that has replaced a former hipped end. There is a central brick chimney. The building is one storey with an attic and has two eaves dormers beneath the thatch, with the left-hand dormer being a recent addition. A small projecting tiled porch is present, featuring a two-light casement window under the right-hand dormer, with two-light casement windows on each side. A recent chimney has been added to the right-hand gable.
