Cottage, formerly coachman's house. Early C19 in Tudor style, altered C20. Whitewashed, roughcast render over red brick with slate roof. 2-unit plan. 2-storey, 2-window range. Gabled front has central C20 door approached by 1 stone step, with depressed arched head, raised, rendered surround with incised masonry patterns and hoodmould. 2-light casement windows to ground and 1st floors with similar surrounds, those to ground floor with hoodmoulds. Rendered, chamfered plinth with basement windows either side of door with cambered arched heads. Bargeboarded gable. 2-storey outbuilding wing to rear right of coursed limestone rubble to ground floor, red brick in Flemish bond to 1st floor, slate roof, and brick end stack. Double coach-house door beside front range with brick cambered arched head, 3 plank doors with wood lintels and 2-light casement windows with wood lintels to ground floor. Loft door and 4-light, leaded casement to 1st floor. Moriah Cottage was formerly the coachman's house to Sandon House (qv), to which the building formerly belonged.
