Description
This building is a canal workshop, originally part of a workshop with a water tower, dating from around 1848 and has been altered since. It is constructed of brown brick with white brick window heads and arches. The building features an eaves band course and minimal corner pilasters. The slate roof has a central wooden louvred vent and the structure is one storey high. The southeast gable includes two double doors with radiating fanlights and a round window with glazing from Foxton yard, which is dated 1903. The southwest side has been altered, while the northwest side has five bays of cast iron windows with segmental heads.
