Description

The Green Cottage and Wellington Cottage is a 17th century, three-bay, two-storey house that has been subdivided into two separate residences. The building features a timber frame with a 19th-century front that is rendered. It has an old tiled roof with an original chimney stack located between the two right-hand bays. The entrance is situated in front of the stack and includes a panelled door topped with a cornice hood. The windows are casement style, with three lights on the first floor and bay windows with flat roofs on the ground floor. The eaves are decorated with dentils. The side elevation is timber framed with brick infill, and there is an outshot at the rear that includes three modern hipped dormers.
