Description

Bucks House is a 17th-century timber-framed building with a later 18th-century brick facade. It is situated on the south-east side of the High Street in Chalfont St Giles. The building has two bays and retains an old tile roof. The upper floor features box sash windows, with 19th-century sashes on the ground floor. Decorative fascia brackets are positioned on either side of a modern shopfront while dentil eaves run along the roofline. A 17th-century chimney stack is located behind the ridge of the roof on the right-hand bay.
