Description
Sandford is an 18th century, two-storey, five-bay red brick house located on the north-west side of High Street in Chalfont St Giles. It features a hipped old tile roof, a moulded wooden eaves cornice on the front elevation, and dentilled eaves on the flanks. The house has barred double hung box sash windows. The entrance is situated in the second bay from the right and consists of a three-panel door beneath a semi-circular radial fanlight. There is a 19th century north wing that is also two storeys with a hipped old tile roof. Additionally, there is an 18th century brick outbuilding adjacent to the house, which has an old tile roof.
