Description
This barn, located adjacent to the north of Old Callow Down Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding and a brick plinth, topped with a half-hipped roof made of old tiles. The barn consists of three bays and has a central cart entry. Inside, it has a double purlin roof supported by curved principal trusses, which are complemented by raking struts to the lower purlins and braced tie beams. There are low 20th-century brick extensions at each end of the barn. The building is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
