Description

No. 3 Little Horwood Road is an early 19th-century house located in Great Horwood. It is constructed of chequered brick and features a flush band of blue headers at the first-floor level, along with toothed brick eaves. The house has an old tile roof and flanking brick chimneys, standing two storeys high with three bays. The original leaded casements include three-light windows flanking two-light windows, with those on the ground floor having cut brick heads. The central bay contains a three-panelled door set in a wooden surround with pilaster strips, a frieze panel featuring a moulded diamond, and a small cornice hood supported by cut scroll brackets. At the rear, there is a lean-to structure.
