Description
The Bell Inn is a hotel and restaurant dating from the 18th century, constructed of brick with a modern tiled roof and flanking chimneys. It is two stories high and features three bays of old sash windows. The ground floor windows have side lights and semicircular arches with blank tympana, creating a form of Venetian window. The central door is topped with a wheel fanlight and is set within a shallow flat-topped portico supported by Doric columns and pilasters. There is an additional sash window to the right of the ground floor with a segmental arched head. The rear extensions are mostly modern and are in scale with the original building, but they are not of special interest.
