Description
Croft Thatch is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with 19th century additions to the side and rear. It is constructed of witchert, which is colourwashed and roughcast, and features a half-hipped thatched roof. The building has one storey plus an attic and consists of three bays, with 19th century single-storey lean-tos at the rear and on the west gable, as well as a south porch. The gable end faces the road and includes a two-light horizontal sliding casement window on the ground floor and a three-light casement window in the gable. There is a door located on the north wall, while the south wall has a two-light leaded casement window followed by a door in the porch. There are chimneys positioned between the east bays and on the former west wall, which is now enclosed by the lean-to. Inside, the cottage features chamfered spine beams.
