Description
No. 7 Gibson Lane is a 17th-century cottage constructed of witchert, which is colourwashed and roughcast on a colourwashed rubble plinth. The west elevation is rendered and colourwashed. It features an old tile roof, has two bays, and is 1½ storeys high with a lean-to at the south end. The gable elevation faces the road. The east elevation includes a right-hand board door, a left bay with a casement window, and a two-light gabled eaves dormer. The west elevation has two ground floor sash windows and one window in the lean-to. The street-facing gable has an off-centre two-light leaded casement window and a brick gable stack, with another stack located at the south end. Inside, the cottage features chamfered and stopped spine beams and an inglenook fireplace.
